With over 20 million Americans suffering from Type-2 Diabetes, medications like Actos  have been very popular.  The FDA has added Actos to its watch list on January 31, 2011 for further study into its side effects.  Drugs like Actos,and Avandia, have caused severe heart issues, including death. Actos has been marketed in the United States since 1999, but was recalled in France and Germany after a European study stated that there was a high percentage of bladder cancer among long term users of Actos. These Actos problems are thoroughly documented.

Symptoms of Actos Bladder Cancer

Recent studies performed by the FDA and French officials have suggested that there may be an increased risk of bladder cancer with the use of Actos (pioglitazone). Some possible symptoms of bladder cancer caused by Actos may include some or all of the following:

    Blood found in the urine
    Pain while urinating
    Frequent urination
    Sensation of needing to urinate without results
